We use experiential learning through fun activities to teach real life social skills. This allows us the unique opportunity as clinicians for direct observation of your child's behaviors and emotional responses. We have found that this is a powerful tool not to be underestimated. It gives us unlimited opportunities for "teachable moments" and allows us to foster change through action in the real world. We do this so that your child will be more likely to generalize and "live this learning" at home, school, and in their community.
"Experiential learning takes place when a person involved in an activity looks back and evaluates it, determines what was useful or important to remember, and uses this information to perform another activity."
